The Formula That Will Transform Your Creator Business
Discover the Three Key Elements That Will Elevate Your Creative Journey
Last week, I found myself walking under the soft patter of rain, lost in thought, when suddenly, like a bolt of lightning, an idea struck me: the creator business formula.
I matured this idea after ingurgitating tons of content and taking several courses.
But I'm not here to play the usual copywriting game with you. I know you're way too smart for those tricks. I want to give you the good stuff, the real deal, straight away!
And if you’ve seen the visual above, you already have a good idea of what I’m gonna write.
Here's the formula:
Quality + Volume + Uniqueness = Money
Contrary to what I thought until now, I believe that these three elements are non-negotiable.
They're especially crucial now, as we stand on the precipice of a content overload, with the imminent influx of mediocre content that's likely to flood our digital landscape. I already feel I drowning, don’t you?
But that’s another story.
Let's dissect these three keys, shall we?
Quality
Quality, the first key, seems pretty straightforward, doesn't it? But the real conundrum lies in how we achieve it.
In my view, there are three aspects to developing quality:
1. Practice: just like a musician fine-tuning their craft (oh my dear guitar!) or an athlete training for the big game, the more you practice, the better you get. It's a simple, time-tested truth.
2. Quality of what you consume: the old adage "you are what you eat," holds true for content creation as well. The quality of the content you consume directly influences the quality of the content you create. If you feed your mind with high-quality, thought-provoking content, it's bound to reflect in your work.
3. How you process this information to create: this is where your unique thought process and personal experiences come into play. How you interpret, analyze, and utilize the information you consume is key to creating quality content.
For a long time, I thought that quality of work was enough to succeed as a creator. But I’ve been wrong.
It’s not enough.
Volume
The reality is, you need to be seen (or heard) to make an impact. That's why we need to be prolific.
But how do we achieve this without compromising on quality?
It all boils down to how we manage and process the knowledge we consume. I've been pondering over an idea about this...
The process I'm envisioning combines two methods.
Firstly, visual thinking, which I‘m currently learning about, allows us to process information more efficiently and effectively.
Secondly, smart notes, which help us create nodes in our personal knowledge network, connecting ideas and insights in a meaningful way.
I'll be exploring this concept further in the coming weeks and will share my insights with you.
And believe me, there's a lot more to come...
Uniqueness
I touched a few times on this one thus you should check out previous issues.
This is where you need to dig deep, to delve into the depths of your past experiences, values, and aspirations.
For instance, I plan to leverage my unique blend of experiences as a scientist, musician, and martial artist to create content that's distinctly me.
It's about taking the essence of who you are and infusing it into your work.
Conclusion
In the days and weeks to come, I'll continue to explore and expand on these three elements that I believe are crucial for success as a creator.
I'll experiment, learn, and share my findings in public and here so you can also benefit from this system.
But I’d love to see you embark on this adventure with me, learning, growing, and creating.
Be great,
Frank
