We’re ONE.
So becoming a better human, even out of selfishness, inevitably contributes to a global improvement.
You may have observed it with your direct relationships: if you have fewer problems, you are more patient, present, and able to give.
And giving is a force that spreads.
As an example, I’ve be raising money for a charity by training and running my first marathon last May. I know that it has inspired others.
But initially, I was being selfish: I wanted to feel more fit, get some social recognition for doing something hard, whatever…
In end, I’m helping directly a charity for cancer research and indirectly other people to get in shape and maybe raise funds too.
It’s not a lot. But it matters.
Your little selfish improvements matter.
You are the driver of change in the world.
You can be proud of it.
With Love,
Frank
